Da setzt der Dannebrog, die dänische Flagge, die 1219 bei Tallinn vom Himmel fiel, weitaus glücklicher die farblichen Akzente. Besonders vor strahlendem Firmament, wenn der Blick über sanft abfallende Hügel zum blauen Sund schweift. Und oft auch vor einer alten Dorfkirche macht der Dannebrog eine feine Figur. Weil er so hübsch ist, konnte sich auch seine populäre Verwendung durchsetzen: Als Wimpel oder Tortenfähnchen wird er „Hurra-Flagge“ genannt und kommt immer dann zum Einsatz, wenn es etwas zu feiern gibt.
